Question about idina menzel's performance in london?

when idina performed in london, did she speak in her natural american accent? because when kerry ellis (who is in the original london cast of Wicked) came to broadway in NYC, she used an american accent although she is british. so did idina change the accent or did she speak naturally? thanks
